Recently, The First Years contacted me about doing a review of several of their products- some for toddlers, some for babies, and some for Mom and Dad!

I was happy to say yes, because we are already fans of The First Years products in my household.

grippersipperThe First Years Gripper Sipper Non-Insulated Spill-Proof Cup

I will start by saying that we LOVE these cups!! First, they are spill-proof. Lately, my two-year-old has been into cause and effect. She likes to test things out and see how they work. With some of her other sippy cups, she can turn them upside down and hooray, liquid comes out!

Not the case with the Gripper Sippers. She can hold it upside down and even shake it, and this baby is still spill-proof. I also love that there are no little parts- no valves to remove and hand wash each time the cup goes in the dishwasher. Just a lid (that easily screws on) and a cup. The cups are BPA free and sold in a two-pack for $6.96, making them safe and affordable, as well. (I found them even cheaper on…only $5.50!) The cups also come in blue and green.

The First Years GumDrop® Baby Bottle Starter Set

This adorable set of bottles, pacifiers, and pacifier wipes would make a great baby shower present for an expectant mama! In all, it comes with ten pieces: three 4 oz. bottles, two 8 oz. bottles, two replacement nipples, two newborn pacifiers, and a pack of 40 pacifier wipes. I like how the bottles are slender so an older baby could easily hold onto them. Also, each bottle comes with a cap so it doesn’t spill when you’re on the go.

My two-month-old son wasn’t crazy about the bottles, but I think that has more to do with the fact that he only gets one bottle per day and he was already used to a different kind of nipple- the BreastFlow bottles product line (also by The First Years), which is designed for babies who are used to breastfeeding. I have a feeling that a baby who was more experienced with bottles would like these just fine.

My son did like these pacifiers, which came in very handy when he started his recent habit of fussing during the hours of 5-7:00 P.M. every night! And for my favorite part of the set- the pacifier wipes! I always, always, ALWAYS keep a pack of these in my purse. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been out at the store and the pacifier falls to the ground. These wipes give me the peace of mind of being able to quickly clean off the pacifier and give it back to my screaming toddler, good as new.

The First Years American Red Cross On-The-Go First Aid Kit

I used to pack every single possible thing I could need into my purse/diaper bag. Extra clothes, diapers, burp cloths, pacifiers, bandages- I tried to fit it all. When we went on family trips on the weekends, I liked the reassurance of having a first aid kit in the car, but the one we had was too big and bulky.

Enter this conveniently smaller-sized On-The-Go First Aid Kit! It still manages to have ALL the essentials, while being contained in a portable carrying case. I can’t think of anything that is missing from this kit.

It has: bandages, antibiotic ointment, scissors, tweezers, gauze, hand sanitizer, and medical tape. Now I keep it stowed in my car for emergencies, or if I’m going out somewhere with the stroller, I’ll toss it in the basket. This way I am always prepared for an on-the-go boo-boo!

Wouldn’t you love to have your own The First Years American Red Cross On-The-Go First Aid Kit and two-pack of Gripper Sippers?

I’m the one that won, but you sent a second email saying you did not get my address. I replied both times, I’m not sure why you did not receive the first. Thanks!
