The best part about being a blogger is getting to attend fun events with brands that have great products and information to share. (And getting to meet Elmo, let’s be honest…)

This is especially fun during the holiday season when I get to test out some of the hot toys and items that are sure to be on your holiday gift list! Last weekend, I was lucky enough to attend the Mom Mixer with Vaseline- Holiday Showcase at the Bellevue Hotel in Philadelphia.

Event sponsors like Vaseline, Hasbro, Just Play Toys, Playskool, Tommee Tippee, CVS, Robitussin, and Children’s Advil all had booths with their best new products ready for testing!

First I played with one of Hasbro’s FurReal Friends- an adorable monkey with a banana-bottle. She was just precious! I wanted to take her home for my daughter.

FurReal Friends Cuddles My Giggly Monkey Pet is definitely going on my daughter’s Christmas list.

I also saw a bunch of Playskool Heroes Transformers Rescue Bots. My two-year-old is not into these yet, but my friend Sarah assures me that they are big with the five-year-old boy crowd.

Another big holiday toy on display was the Furby Boom, which comes in a variety of fun patterns.

Since I have a five-month-old, I was especially happy to see Tommee Tippee at the mixer. They had their baby bottles, sippy cups, and some other fun products that may be making an appearance in my upcoming Holiday Gift Guide 😉 tommeetippee

How cool is this bejeweled lip gloss from Vaseline? You can purchase the regular unbejeweled version at drugstores, but the fancy one is only available at Kitson.

I was also able to speak with the representatives from Children’s Advil. I learned that Children’s Advil provides up to 8 hours of fever relief. Something so cool that Advil just started is a “Feel Better Activity Center” on its website. There are activities for your child to do when he or she is home sick from school. Such a cute idea!

And of course there was another of the hottest toys around on display… the Just Play Doc McStuffins Get Better Check Up Center! Doc is huge in my house, and this is way up there on our Christmas wish list!

Thank you to Whitney from Mommies With Style and Colleen from Classy Mommy for putting on such a fabulous day! Looking forward to next year already!

And a special thank you to Sarah from Finnegan & The Hughes for driving, and to my sister stylist Melanie for dressing me in a cute outfit!

Are you posting a holiday gift guide? My kids are about the same age as yours and I want to copy yours. I am lazy and depending on you to do the legwork lol. You look very pretty in your fancy clothes!
