Holiday Gift Guide: Babies & Toddlers

This post may contain affiliate links. Read full disclosure policy here.I received some of these items for review and possible inclusion in my Gift Guide. All opinions are my own.

I am of the firm belief that babies don’t really need a ton of presents to open for the holidays. (They don’t know the difference.)

Still, I do like to get my kids a few little presents when they’re really little…the Christmas tree looks nicer with more gifts under it, after all!

Here are my top picks of gifts for babies and toddlers…

Clip Clop Princess2 Cozy Coupe Yo Yo Horace

TOMY Clip Clop Princess: Simply push on the Princess’s head to send the cute horse, complete with neighing sounds, charging forward… encouraging your little one to crawl after her as fast as they can. My son had lots of fun chasing the Princess down our hallway!

Little Tikes Cozy Coupe: A new spin on the classic Little Tikes Cozy Coupe series, the newest version has a sun roof (how cool!) and a parent handle. My 17-month-old son loves the ignition button and working horn. Even my three-year-old wants to get in and take it for a spin!

Lamaze Yo Yo Horace Toy: Arrrgh mateys! We love these soft Lamaze toys with the different patterns and textures. The hook lets you easily clip it onto the car seat, stroller, or wherever!

Let's Imagine Elmo Elmo Bath Adventure Steamboat Take-Along Band Set

Playskool Let’s Imagine Elmo: Elmo dresses up to be a cowboy, a sea captain, or a prince. He can count up to 20 and play “Prince Elmo Says” with your little one. Featuring four interactive play modes.

Playskool Elmo Bath Adventure Steamboat Toy: Ever since I saw this at a Playskool event, I have had this on my kids’ Christmas list! I just know they are going to love playing with it in the tub…in fact, I should probably order two of them!

Playskool Take-Along Band Set: My son has this toy and it is just adorable. All the instruments fit conveniently in the carrying case. His favorite is honking the Big Bird horn. Great musical fun!

My First Fishbowl Rock Ride N Stride Hippo B. Wheeeels

Lamaze My First Fishbowl: We love this toy in our house, because my husband is an aquarium enthusiast (he has a huge saltwater tank with lots of colorful fishies). Your child can play with the soft sea creatures and then put them back in the bowl. And take them out again…and repeat!

Playskool Rock, Ride n Stride Hippo: Toys that adapt as your child grows = a great idea! This starts out as a walker, then converts to a rocker toy, and finally a ride-on toy. It also has 25 sounds and four motion-activated tunes to entertain your child.

B. Wheeee-ls: My son got these cars for his first birthday and they are definitely a hit! Why they are different– they are chunky and easy for toddlers to grab and play with. Also, the cars make fun noises when you push them. The cars come in a set of four.

Mustela Newborn Gift Set Green Toys Dump Truck Board Books

Mustela Newborn Gift Set: Don’t want to give a toy as a gift? Any new mom will appreciate this gift of luxurious Mustela products for her baby. Includes the No-Rinse Cleansing Fluid, Foam Shampoo, and more!

Green Toys Dump Truck: Another one of our favorite brands is Green Toys– the toys are durable, eco-friendly, and fun. Any of the colorful vehicles will delight your toddler for many hours.

Board books: There are too many books that I like for babies and toddlers…really any chunky board book with bright pictures or textures will do! There are SO many great board books on Amazon. I find the ones at Barnes & Noble to be a lot more expensive. Another place to score cheap kids’ books is at stores like TJ Maxx and Home Goods.
