If you’re looking for a good book to read, I’ve got several recommendations…
I have been on a TEAR lately.
I’m reading books left and right, finishing two a week instead of catching up on my beloved Bravo shows.
I know. WHO IS THIS PERSON AND WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH LINDSAY?
The truth is, I have always been an avid reader but struggle with finding good books that interest me.
Lately, though, I’ve found some good ones. Really good ones. And I just can’t stop reading!
I found most of these books on a list called “16 Books to Read If You Love Big Little Lies.”
Here are the books that have captivated my interest in the past few months…
The Widow by Fiona Barton… Jean’s husband has been accused of an unthinkable crime. Now that he’s dead, will she continue to maintain his innocence like she did when he was alive?
The Twilight Wife by A.J. Banner… Kyra must rely on her husband Jacob to fill in the blanks for the memories she lost in a diving accident. But is everything in her life as wonderful as he tells her or is he hiding something?
A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara… Not for the faint of heart, this is a dark tale of a man who grew up in horrific conditions. This was hard to read, but I didn’t want it to end.
Here’s to Us by Elin Hilberbrand… When celebrity chef Deacon Thorpe passes away suddenly, his current wife and two ex-wives gather with his children at the family house on Nantucket. You can only imagine the drama that ensues.
The Vanishing Year by Kate Moretti… Zoe has made a new life for herself as the wife of the rich Henry Whittaker, but her past is coming back to haunt her.
Behind Closed Doors by B.A. Paris… This one really freaked me out and I had to finish it quickly to stop my anxiety over it. Do Grace and Jack have the perfect marriage or is there something much more sinister going on behind closed doors?
The Marriage Lie by Kimberly Belle… Iris finds her world turned upside down when her husband dies in an airplane crash. But what was he doing flying to Seattle when he told her he was going to Florida…and does she really want to know?
The Rainbow Comes and Goes by Anderson Cooper & Gloria Vanderbilt… A rare look inside the relationship of Anderson Cooper and his mother, Gloria Vanderbilt. The duo faced their share of tragedy together, but only now find themselves connecting on a deeper level.
The Hypnotist’s Love Story by Liane Moriarty… This is one of my favorite Liane Moriarty books. Ellen, a hypnotist, finds out that her new boyfriend has an ex-girlfriend who stalks him.
Up next for me is the first book in Elin Hilderbrand’s Winter Street trilogy…
