A Finding Dory shower curtain is a simple way to make a fun deep sea bathroom for the kids!

If it were up to my daughter, her room would be done up to the hilt with character decor…

Frozen bedding, a Sofia the First table and chairs, and maybe even a Barbie Spy Squad bathroom set. If such a thing exists.

But I hate all that character crap.

I’d much rather the house be decorated in general themes and patterns that don’t revolve around a movie the kids will be sick of in two years.

Right now they are really into Finding Dory, probably because it’s EVERYWHERE.

They have begged for Finding Dory Goldfish, fruit snacks, you name it. This was before they had even seen the movie, mind you, and they weren’t big Nemo fans.

Gotta love the power of marketing.

As it happens, I was looking for a way to spend my Kohl’s cash and I remembered that I hate the boring white shower curtain we have in the kids’ bathroom.

While perusing online, I discovered this Finding Dory shower curtain. It looked cute and it seemed to be tasteful and not too cheesy.

I liked how it could pass for a simple ocean themed shower curtain and wasn’t necessarily screaming Finding Dory. So even if they hated the movie, the shower curtain just looks like cute little fishies.

The colors are compatible and muted…not too bright or flashy.

I also picked up this Dory soap dispenser.

They have other bathroom accessories like a rug and towels, but I prefer to use solid color bath towels and bath mats. I think the Finding Dory soap dispenser and shower curtain are just enough fun to spice up the room.

Oh and make sure you’re using Ebates to earn money on this Kohl’s purchase!
