Print out a copy of the Vanderpump Rules Reunion Drinking Game!

The most exciting thing about Vanderpump Rules this season (for me) was the fact that I became a card-carrying member of Team Ariana.

Yes, that’s right, previously I hated Ariana and Tom Sandoval. Now I think they are my favorites on the show. Seriously. I even wrote an apology letter to Ariana explaining my turnaround. Read More »

Thoughts on The Bachelor Finale

This post may contain affiliate links. Read full disclosure policy here.

I’ve had some time to process and here’s what I think about The Bachelor finale.

In case you haven’t heard by now, Nick Viall chose Vanessa and sent Raven packing on the finale of The Bachelor Monday night.

This was not a surprise to me; I thought Nick’s relationship with Vanessa was way more developed than his relationship with Raven. Read More »

A Bachelor First {10 Things It Could Be}

This post may contain affiliate links. Read full disclosure policy here.

There’s going to be a FIRST on tonight’s three-hour Bachelor special!

So according to the latest promos for tonight’s finale of The Bachelor, we are going to experience a “first” on After the Final Rose.

Hmmm.

I’ll be the first to say I’m suspicious. Don’t they always say this?  Read More »

The Bachelor {Episode 10 & Women Tell All}

Nick sends one of the final three home plus it’s the Women Tell All!

I’ll start by saying I did not stay up to watch all two hours of Women Tell All last night. I was trying to watch it in bed but it got to be embarrassing with all the whining and the Corinne/Taylor drama. My husband was in the room with me and I kept wanting to say, “I’m intelligent, I swear!”

Instead I just turned the TV off and finished it in the morning.

So yeah. I was not impressed. Read More »

Check out 7 Things to Look Forward To on RHONY!

Real Housewives of New York is back already? Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy, really I am. RHONY is my second favorite after RHOBH.

But I feel like we just ended the season. The scandal of Tom cheating on Luann remains fresh in my mind.

In any event, judging by the trailer for the new season, it’s going to be a good one. Read More »

8 Things About The Bachelor {Fantasy Suites, Part 1}

What exactly does Andi want???

The Bachelor Contestants

So a lot went on in a short amount of time this week.That’s right, the TV gods noticed that I can barely make it to 9:00 each night so they threw me a bone and only dropped an hour episode on us.

Unfortunately next week is a whopping THREE HOURS of The Bachelor programming (a one-hour regular episode plus two hours of The Women Tell All), so I guess this is just a taper week, as we runners call it.

Let’s get to the good stuff…

8 Things About The Bachelor {Fantasy Suites, Part 1}

1. Andi. So…Andi just dropped by to “see how it’s going?” COME ON. Andi, you were a respected lawyer. WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?! This was the dumbest ploy in the history of The Bachelor. Nick did not need Andi’s blessing to go ahead and sleep with all three women in the Fantasy Suites. He was going to do that anyway.

2. The timing. Were the ladies standing there in the cold that whole time while Nick was chatting it up with Andi? Way harsh.

3. Leather jackets. Are leather jackets a thing now? Do I need one? Could they POSSIBLY MOVE THESE LADIES INDOORS???

4. Bye, Corinne. WOW. I did not expect Corinne to get sent home, but in fairness, she did have condensation all over her face during the Rose Ceremony. I actually felt bad for Corinne. She grew on me the past several weeks. I would be annoyed at Nick for offering zero explanation as to why he ended things. Oh well. At least Corinne gets to devote more time to naps now.

5. The Rachel Spoiler. So this is where the decision to announce Rachel as the next Bachelorette makes no sense. I was expecting Corinne to receive a rose after Hometown Dates and for Rachel to be sent home. But now that Rachel is the one who got a rose, I am instantly assuming that she gets sent home next…because they wouldn’t tell us she loses if she’s in the final two, right?! Really annoyed by that spoiler.

6. Nick can iron? SOLD! I can’t iron. Thankfully, my own husband (also named Nick) can iron, too. Maybe it’s a Nick thing.

7. Raven revealing that she’s never had an orgasm… OMG. I am cringing but also feeling for her. Here Raven. Try this. Sixty-three five-star customer reviews on Amazon can’t be wrong!

8. “I do love you.” I found Raven’s declaration of love to be very genuine, as did Nick. Again, she got a much better reaction than Vanessa did when she said she loved Nick. Weird.

Another “To Be Continued” episode. Shocker!

Don’t forget next week is THREE HOURS. Get your sleep in now, my friends…

10 Things About The Bachelor Last Night {Hometown Dates}

Ain’t no dates like Hometown Dates!

Hometown Dates is one of the best episodes of the season, mainly because there are always some colorful characters to meet.

After abruptly sending Kristina home last week, there was no need for a Rose Ceremony and Nick told the four remaining girls that they would all be getting Hometown Dates…if they wanted them.

Which they did. Duh. Read More »

A huge spoiler announcement came out yesterday…

I feel that the fundamental premise of The Bachelor is flawed…

The Bachelor Contestants

We are nearing the end of our journey!

I always say this, but it went by so fast, didn’t it? Nick made some major progress this week by eliminating tons of ladies…on group dates, on 2-on-1 dates, and at rose ceremonies.

10 Things About The Bachelor Last Night {Season 21, Episode 5}

Ten things about last night’s episode of The Bachelor…

My life feels so crazy lately I can’t even give The Bachelor the attention it deserves.

That’s right– I didn’t even finish the episode until this morning. I don’t know what’s going on.

Clearly, I need to get my priorities straight!

So here’s an abbreviated version of the normal weekly recap…

10 Things About The Bachelor Last Night

1. I can’t with the Disney movie tie-ins. Each season it’s something else and this season it happens to be Beauty and the Beast. A live-action version. I know some of my friends are really excited about seeing this movie, but I don’t get it! Maybe if it was a live-action version of The Little Mermaid, I could get behind it. Beauty and the Beast? I’ll pass.

2. If this episode is going to be set up as Corinne vs. Taylor…I’m going to have to say that I’m on #TeamCorinne. #sorrynotsorry

3. When the girls try to explain the importance of the 2-on-1 date to the rest of us…

Corinne: “It’s going to be really hard.”

Vanessa: “Yeah, because one person is going home.”

THANKS FOR THE CLARIFICATION, LADIES.

4. Regarding the relationship between Nick and Rachel, I FINALLY feel like there is a legitimate connection between a Bachelor and a woman of color. It’s sad, but in the past it seemed like Bachelors kept a minority girl around just to show “Hey, look, I’m not racist!” without actually taking the time to form a meaningful connection with the person. I REALLY like Rachel and Nick together!

5. It seems as if the girls are always sitting around playing with each other’s hair. I would go on the show literally just to have people play with my hair. Isn’t it the best??? And my husband never wants to do it.

6. My apologies but I had to fast-forward through the haunted house date. As soon as I heard the words “little girl looking for her doll,” I was done with that.

7. Poor Taylor doesn’t know what she’s up against on this 2-on-1 date. I would say the odds are about 90% that Corinne stays. Guys like “Corinnes.”  Maybe not for the long haul, but certainly to fool around with until it’s time to pick that final girl!

8.Who was the hottie boat driver that took Nick, Corinne, and Taylor through the bayou? Is he single?!

9. So now where does one go to have a voodoo doll of an enemy made? Can a person order one online? #askingforafriend

10. I am loving the Jersey girl, Alexis. Her blooper reel is amazing. No way in hell she’s ending up with Nick, but #AlexisforBachelorette!

Let’s chat about the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as we approach the middle of Season 7.

We have almost reached the halfway point of Season 7 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

I will confess that I hadn’t been keeping up with it each week, but after binge-watching the past several episodes this week I feel compelled to speak out on several issues.

Let’s start with what is becoming a focal point for this season, the introduction of new Housewife Dorit. Read More »

Another week, another on-stage slow dance with Danielle L.

Also similar to other weeks is DRAMA WITH CORINNE. Shocking, I know.

Unfortunately for the rest of the ladies, Corinne’s antics don’t seem to bother Nick. Yet. Read More »

What happened on The Bachelor last night track and field

As has become the standard, we were left with a cliffhanger situation last week on The Bachelor and had to pick it up after Liz’s (slightly) dramatic exit and the realization that Nick needed to tell the girls about their history. Their sexual history, that is.

To his credit, Nick doesn’t skirt the issue. He makes an announcement that is basically, “I slept with Liz nine months ago, she didn’t want my phone number then, and I don’t want hers now.”

Personally I don’t think this situation is Nick’s fault at all. I’m 100% sure he didn’t want some random chick he banged at Jade and Tanner’s wedding showing up and making things awkward for him as The BachelorRead More »

You want to know what happened on The Bachelor last night? Corinne happened on The Bachelor last night.

It certainly didn’t take long for Corinne to be painted as the villain although “painted” may be the wrong word to use. She is wretched. I see no redeeming qualities thus far.

She is a mix of Stassi from Vanderpump Rules (in both looks AND personality), Olivia Caridi from Ben Higgins’ season of The Bachelor, and Courtney Robertson from Ben Flajnik’s season.

Let’s take a look at how Corinne’s reign of terror continued last night… Read More »

Of course I am already liking this season, but that’s just because I HEART NICK VIALL.

Objectively, though, I do think it will be a really good season, mainly because he actually has a personality unlike the last several Bachelors. Not naming any names, BEN, CHRIS, and SEAN.

But let’s get to the important stuff. It’s time to drink. Might I recommend this as your drinking vessel? Read More »

What Happened on the Bachelor Premiere

I don’t know why I’m surprised by this but really, 40 minutes of background and filler crap before we got to Night 1 at the Bachelor Mansion?!

Was it necessary to hear from Nick’s little sister who is now too old to be playing the “cute lil’ sis” role?

Did we need to watch Nick hang out with three duds like Sean, Ben, and Farmer Chris? (Although Chris made some good cracks at Nick, I will say.)

But I digress. That’s what we get for signing on to yet another season of The Bachelor, I suppose. Read More »

Words or even emojis can not express just how excited I am for my main man, Nick Viall, to be The Bachelor this season.

Frankly, it’s been awhile since we’ve had someone who wasn’t a huge DUD as the star.

If you are among the group of fans who do not like Nick, just give him a chance. I’m confident that his charm, his smile, and the fact that he will probably sleep with half the cast and cause tons of drama will win you over eventually.

Dear Ariana {Vanderpump Rules}

A note of apology to Ariana.

dear-ariana

Dear Ariana,

We haven’t been on the best of terms since you joined the cast of Vanderpump Rules.

I took an immediate dislike to you, based on several things:

1. You were the girl Tom cheated with, but you guys denied it for so long.

2. Once you two were dating, you took on the persona of The Cool Girl. The one who is laid-back and chill and just wants to hang with the guys.

3. You wanted Tom to celebrate your birthday for an entire week.

4. You and Tom were too lovey-dovey for my liking.

Those things irked me, because I didn’t really think that you were The Cool Girl. I thought it was all an act.

So I chose the opposite side whenever you were in a fight with someone (#TeamScheana2015!) and I figured you would always be my Vanderpump Rules nemesis.

But oh how wrong I was.

The tides are turning on my beloved Pump Rules and I see so clearly now that YOU ARE THE COOL GIRL.

How could I have been so wrong?!

How could I have sided with those god-awful b*tches like Stassi, Kristen, Katie, and Scheana??

(Sidenote– Kristen isn’t truly bothering me this season yet, and I kind of always love Stassi deep down, but Katie is THE WORST and Scheana is taking a close second with her pathetic ass-kissing of these girls.)

But back to Ariana this season.

The case for loving her is simple:

1. She ate the butt steak.

2. Katie doesn’t care for her anymore. (A bonus in my book.)

3. She is friends with my girl Lala.

4. She is the anti-Katie/Kristen/Stassi/Scheana girl.

So Ariana, I’d like to offer my sincerest apologies for judging you prematurely.

You and Tom are turning into my favorite couple on the show and I fully support the alliance with James and Lala.

Thank you for fighting the good fight and sticking up for normal girls who don’t force their friends not to talk to people just because they don’t like them.

Keep on keepin’ on.

xoxo,

Lindsay
