My two-year-old son recently alerted me that he wants to start potty-training.

He requested “Pee-pee on toilet?” several times, but I kept telling him “No, we pee-pee in our diapers!” because I wasn’t ready yet. So he just started pulling his diaper off and going on the floor.

Obviously, that wasn’t going to work, so I decided to start trying to potty-train him. He loves reading about Elmo going on the potty, especially because that book has cool sound effects.
