Jenny McCarthy, M.D.?

On Monday it was announced that Jenny McCarthy would be joining The View as a permanent co-host in September.

My reaction? Yay! Elisabeth Hasselbeck is finally gone! Seriously, though, I thought it was a great move for the talk show. Read More »

King of the Castle: RHONJ Recap

Who’s ready for  a Lake George rumble between two little Joes? Keep reading for your RHONJ recap!

The show opens with Melissa (jokingly?) teaching her kids how to strip. For someone so sensitive about how she may or may not have been a stripper in the past, she sure jokes around about it a lot. I guess only Teresa can’t say it. Or Milania. Read More »

These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things…{BLOGS}

Since Twitter has #FF (Follow Friday), where you give a shout-out to Twitter profiles that you want your followers to check out, I’d thought I’d do something similar today.

I would like to share a few of my favorite blogs with you. Some of them I go to for a recipe or a craft idea, some just make me laugh.

Check them out and let me know what you think! Read More »

Summer Reading List, Part One

Summertime means going to the beach. And for me, going to the beach means relaxing with a good book.

(Well, that’s what it used to mean. Now it means building castles with moats, jumping the waves with a two-year-old, and eating goldfish in the sand.)

But I won’t begrudge the rest of you who still are able to go to the beach and enjoy a book. I know I will have that again someday…in about 20 years. Read More »

Friendship Me, Myself, & I Relationships

On Friendship: My Happiness Project, July

My focus this month for My Happiness Project will be on Friendship. This is a topic that is so very important to me. I grew up with a wonderful group of girlfriends in middle school and high school. This group of nine has stayed close even now, fourteen years after graduating. While we may only get together as a group at weddings, showers, and the like, we still stay in frequent contact through group emails, mass texts, and phone calls. Read More »

Third Time’s The Charm: RHOC Recap

It’s Tamra’s big day! Well, not the actual big day (Eddie still won’t commit to the wedding). Just the big wedding dress shopping day!

She’s brought along all of her “best” friends to help! Will they all get along? Read on for the RHOC recap to find out! Read More »

50 Shades of Rosie: RHONJ Recap

It’s a Rosie-licious Real Housewives of New Jersey! Keep reading for your RHONJ recap!

This episode picked up exactly where last week’s left off. Joe Gorga is fresh off his gym confrontation with Teresa (“Go cook a book!”). He shows up at home PISSED. You would think he is pissed at Teresa, but he actually goes off on Melissa for “twittering” that Teresa is bankrupt and may need to rent Chanel bags. Read More »

My Happiness Project: June Recap

Wow, this month really flew by! It’s not even technically over yet, but I’m cheating a little…

Am I happier now than at the beginning of June? Yes, definitely. Is it because I focused on Health for My Happiness Project for the month of June? Well, no. It’s because I had my adorable son and he is just perfect. How can I not be happier with this new little addition to my family? Read More »

Shifting My Priorities

After having a second baby, I’ve had to drastically shift my priorities.

Shifting My Priorities

In the past few weeks, I’ve had to adjust my priorities quite a bit.

I used to have very high expectations of myself on a daily basis.

I liked dinner to be ready and the house to be clean by 5:30 when my husband got home. Clean as in all toys put away in their proper places, beds made, laundry done, and the downstairs vacuumed. Read More »

VTech Go! Go! Smart Wheels Airport Playset: Review

VTech Go Go Smart Wheels Airport Playset

This post may contain affiliate links. Read full disclosure policy here. I received a Go! Go! Smart Wheels Airport Playset from VTech for the purpose of a review. All opinions and thoughts are my own.

My two-year-old is very into cars and trains- basically, anything with wheels. When VTech offered to send me its Go! Go! Smart Wheels Airport Playset to review, I knew my daughter would be thrilled.

She loves to point out airplanes in the sky, but she didn’t yet have any airplane toys. Read More »
