The following is a sponsored post for Dress First. All opinions on the dresses are my own.
I don’t really have fond memories of my prom. I mean, it was okay, but nothing special.
I wasn’t crazy about my dress, I had horrible teenage acne, and my date was a friend.
Also, I feel like their weren’t tons of dress options back when I was in high school (Class of ’99).
All you had to choose from were the department stores and malls closest to your house. Online shopping wasn’t big yet.
There certainly weren’t websites like Dress First that offer prom dresses and accessories that are beautiful, affordable, and can be perused from the comfort of your home. Because let’s face it- what teenager wants to go dress-shopping with her mom?
All dresses are made-to-order once you pick your style, size, and color. I LOVE how each dress has a whole palette of colors to choose from.
Here are some of my favorite dresses from the website:
I would wear this Empire Sweetheart Asymmetrical Chiffon dress if I had boobs. I like this Pearl Pink color, but I also love it in Lavender.
I like the flowery detail on this A-Line/Princess Halter dress.
I’m a sucker for a pale yellow color, so I loved this A-Line/Princess One-Shoulder Sweep Train dress at first sight.
I also love ruffles, and I’ve never seen a dress like this Empire Sweetheart Court Train Chiffon dress.
For those that prefer a short prom dress, there are options like this A-Line/Princess Tulle Charmeuse dress.
Elegant dresses like these can be worn again to college formals and weddings. All of the dresses pictured are less than $180, and most are right around the $150 price point.
Kind of makes me wish there was some type of adult prom…now that I’ve finally figured out how to do things like find an awesome dress, do my hair, put on makeup, and wear high heels
Dress First also carries a line of bridal gowns, bridal party gowns, accessories, and shoes.
